Suppression engineered for the interior of battery cabinets and containers — addressing re-ignition after discharge, the failure mode conventional clean-agent units do not cover.
Designed for the interior of battery energy storage cabinets and containers. Unlike conventional clean-agent units that rely on stored cylinder pressure, this unit uses a pump set as the pressure source: FK-5-1-12 agent is pressurized and then atomized through misting nozzles. The atomized agent continuously removes heat generated by cell reactions, preventing heat accumulation and re-ignition — a failure mode that other products in this category do not address.
When the PACK-level composite detector confirms a fire condition, the suppression control panel starts the pump set and opens the cluster solenoid valve. Atomized FK-5-1-12 is injected into the affected battery modules; discharge repeats in programmed pulses to suppress propagation. If thermal runaway is not contained after full agent discharge, the secondary water-mist circuit can be activated to flood the affected cluster with fire water.
